Conclusion: Overall it's a good trip. Enjoy the breezy weather and the greenery there. It is what we called environmental friendly and the city getaway trip although it is really tiring for us to climb up and down the hill after talk. But we actually learned a lot from the speaker and experienced something very different from this trip.

In the middle of haze

Erm.. You must be wondering how's my life during holiday.. I would say it is still the same in the sense that I still busy and had no time. After exam, I had continuous outing and trips till today only had the "real time" to blog. I keep spending money as usual ( Surprisingly, less online shopping ) Seriously, now the thing that I should get first is a wardrobe. I can sense that my current one is gonna burst into pieces anytime. Recently, I also had lots of planning to do, plan for a farewell party, a missionary trip for fellowship, future and much more pieces of stuff that requires hard and deep thinking. Something that might change my life and crucial for me not to avoid but to face it. I know it is not easy but I'm glad that I'm not alone but with people that always there to support and most importantly my God that is my ultimate help. Now in the middle of my holiday, I hope that this 3 weeks holiday will be very productive and content. Shall evaluate my performance towards the end of the break. Hope won't be dissapointed.

Advertising Group Project- Tourism Malaysia

A video that we have produced for our HBA312, Advertising class.

It is really a good and funny video I would say. Din expect Will I Am to act in such a way. I've watched it more than 10 times ( uncountable ), I will still laugh. So i think it is good for me to share it with all of you. It is actually an advertisement that we've produce to help Tourism Malaysia to urge, persuade people to travel domestically. Below is a follow up print ad that we've come out with.

It is indeed another good advertisement that plays with humour.( Note Will's facial expressions and the RM50 note in his pocket in every picture )

It aims to let people know that even with RM50, you van still travel locally by going to historical monuments, shopping, famous sky crappers ( KLCC ), Zoo and the beach. Overall, I heard that our presentation is quite good and hopefully we can get higher grades because of this.

Nine Words by Women

Got this from Belle. I found it quite interesting.

9 words WOMEN use

(1) Fine
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up. (Erm.. I will only use this word when I'm really agree but this has not come out from my mouth yet)

(2) Five Minutes
If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. ( This won't happen to me )

(3) Nothing
This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine. ( Kinda true )

(4) Go Ahead
This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It! ( Not necessarily true )

(5) Loud Sigh
This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to 3 for the meaning of nothing.) ( LOL! )

(6) That's Okay
This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. ( I don't feel there's anything wrong using this word )

(7) Thanks
A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' .. that will bring on a 'whatever'). ( No comment )

(8) Whatever
Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU! ( LOL, It is one of my word but I don't mean that )

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to 3 ( I really mean it when I say this words, no latent meaning behind )

Craziness of HELP

I was lack of updates recently. The reason is simple and straight forward. I'm so busy and it is as if 24 hours is not enough for me at all. " I feel like dying ( not literally ) when looking at the workload for the remaining of the sem" . This is my PM in Facebook as some might have seen. I really mean it. Whenever I think of it, I felt so burdened and it is torturing to some extent. Some of you might can't imagine how bad it is. Ok, let me list down for you and as a reminder to myself of not wasting anymore time:

Diversion from the true meaning

Another inspirations from a brother in Christ. He was absolutely right when he say there's some kind of diversion in the focus of the camp. We need to constantly remind ourselves that we organize these camps with an ultimate goal which is to serve God and hopefully we can be the walking gospel in the groups of students. We hope that the love of God can be shown through us, those who has already experienced the love of God. But unfortunately, what the student has perceived might be different. They might think that the talents, the communication skills and appearance are more appealing to them. This is quite wrong when we actually think deeply. Yup, literally we are organizing motivational camp, our task is to help them and try to motivate them and indirectly involve in behaviour changing. But the latent meaning should be clearly and deeply embedded into the heart of each volunteer. Each step we took, each word we say and even every non-verbal cues we send out bring meaning to them and it actually reatly affects them. So we as someone who carries the great mission should think not only twice but thrice or even more in everything that we do. We should each examine the real and true motivation behind us. We go there for? To gain confidence? To expand your social life? To gain experience? To gain attention? or To glorify God? This is very important because we know what inside our heart is the most important thing. We live in a world that is not isolated from non-christians, so we need to be aware that we need to stay alert always in no matter what we do. As I can see from the camp, we really did make big impact to the students but is that a good one or the opposite end? We must really evaluate it cos if it is a bad one then we should take correlation action asap before the original aim and objective of this service get contaminated. We do work to glorify God and not to show how certain individuals can carry out their task excellently. No individualistic but collectivism that should be taken place where everyone work together with the same good motive and heart. How beautiful is the picture? So bear this in mind, I'm telling you, yes you SHERMAINE CHAN SUET MANN!!

PS: Not referring this to anyone. Based on my personal observations and perceptions and most importantly, acting as a reminder to myself.

I sometimes really don' t know how. Not really good in dealing with relationship I guess.. Might be just me not really understand la.. But I really don't know how. Shame to say I'm in communication where I'm not good at all in it.. Pls.. Help me..

Mixture of feelings..

I feel like updating my blog but I don't know what to write... Or I shall just inform you all that I just back from an exhausted yet exalted ( a word from friend ) camp. I would say it is a mixture of inspiring, fun and bit disappointment.

Self-Reflection

Attitude and how you view yourself really affected by how people view you? Socially constructed I would say. I think it's partially true. It much depends on how the relationship of the viewer and the context you are in. Some might say I'm noisy but in a different context I'm considered a quiet person to someone. No matter how, I realised something about myself.

• I can be very talkative that you feel like asking me to shut up when I'm around people who I am comfortable with but in a totally opposite manner if I'm full of uncertainty.
• I'm not really good in socializing or to be more precise I'm just not that kind of person. I don't really like socializing when I don't feel like but sometimes I'm quite amazed of how a few close friend of mine can really socialize ( I guess that's me )
• I can communicate better with guys rather than girls, don't ask me why but that is what I've observed. It can also be proved by the number of male close friends I have are so outnumbered female close friends. Some of my male friends tend to say they don't really treat me as a girl ( a brother? ) But it doesn't really matter for true friends. Some might think I'm extremely reliable ( according to most of my close friends ) but yesterday I found out a rather unusual case where a friend of mine don't really think I am ( but maybe because we are still not consider as close friends ). kinda shocking to me but we need to accept the fact that everyone has their own perception about something. You can't control what they perceive as correct and wrong. I guess that's the interesting part of life

Ok, those who are reading might suddenly think I so emo but in fact, I'm not. Just suddenly think of this and feel like writing it down. Ok, we move to other better things. Haha.. You guys should give me a clap of hands. I've just finish reading six chapters of SRM in 5 hours+ time. Wow... Friday is the test, so I hope I can finish it by today lo... Cheer everyone!!

Today a friend of mine gave me an inspiring yet silly thought. " Your blog is all about you". I was like of course, this is my blog! of course it's all about me and what surrounds me la. This is the silly part but at the same time it actually give me another point of view. Actually the way you usually view as correct doesn't always work the same for other people. 1 whole hectic week

Yo, I just realised I really lack of updates... last post was 2 weeks ago. Ok, today suddenly feel like doing something to it but I don't know what to blog about. Maybe to roughly mentioned what I've done throughout this whole week. Mon I had my PR quiz which I think is??? ( speechless I would say- define yourself). Tuesday I had my PR report due which I think should be ok... Wednesday whole day occupied with the so called blood donation drive which really drive us crazy. Really tired that day but I did make quite a number of new friends. I guess worth it lo... The event was quite successful beside all those inorganised planning of the event ( don't feel like talking about it already, anyway it's ady over ) Next in the list is the advertising take home test which I don't really understand but felt thankful when I know almost all my classmates felt the same. ok!!!! Last but not least, our main dish of the week, anthro 8 chapters quiz which is quite torturing especially after the hectic time throughout the week. Now, finally everything is done. But guess what, after all done--> I don't know what else to do. Just waiting for pictures la, Mr. J, c'me on. Ceps la...

Happy Chinese Valentine's Day

Happy Chinese Valentine's Day everyone.

To those who are taken, be sweet and celebrate every minute with your loved one and for those who are still actively seeking, hope you can get one very soon. Chinese Valentine's Day means this is the last day of Chinese New Year. Haih.. That's the end of the angpau seeking season. Well, there's always next year as long as you are not married yet. LOL... Before I forgot, today is also called Cap Goh Mei and Thaipusam day for Hindus. Happy Thaipusam ( Is that suppose to be the way of wishing them?? ). Ok, BTW, you must be wondering how I spend the day. Erm.. As a hardworking student ( I'm always am ), I wake up bit early today despite sleeping late yesterday to study for Advertising Quiz ( oh no, another quiz ). Then had my light bfast and waited for dear to come fetch me around 1pm and off we go to the nearest mall ( as I'm in cheras, sis hse ), Leisure Mall. The main reason we choose that place is we wanted to avoid and away from all the crowded places like KLCC or MIdV. We had my favourite Salmon for lunch and then we walk2 around the mall which is not big. We bought ourselves something too which is the pink and blue mickey phone hanger. It is kinda a habit for us to get at least something small to rmb d day. Then we headed to A&W for waffles. Not bad I can say but it is a bit overrated by the babes ( you know who you are ) . Ok, I should stop here coz I'm having quiz 2molo. Die la, so lazy to study dy ( Dun misun, this is the 1st time I feel so if you believe in me )

My long long CNY post!!!

Ok, now is the time to blog a bit bout CNY. Erm.. My CNY is nothing exciting beside all the big Angpau that I got. Yay!! Now i have more $$ to shop... Blerr.. Erm.. Before CNY went for plenty of shopping spree and as a result I got myself 20++ items and 4 pair of shoes including sandals. I know some of you might be cursing me but I can;t help it. Hope that I can change a bit after CNY despite the truth that I am still a regular shopping blog viewer. Oh no!! But nvm, I'll start up mine soon and desperately wanted to start one. My CNY began to have a bit excitement when it becomes a fashion show to people around me. I almost wore 2 pair of new clothes everyday even till now. And when I look through my wardrobe, I still have plenty of new dresses that I haven't remove the price tag. But I know one day I can wear all of them. Just wait for your turn k??

CNY eve- Had dinner with families at Yulek

1st and 2ND day of CNY spend lots of time with family where 1st day is for brother and 2ND day is with sister. Get to talk and play along with all my nephew, nieces and siblings. Pretty contended though. My free time is all occupied by waiting for dear to come back from Malacca. He finally back on the the 3rd day nite. On the 4th and 5th day we decided to go somewhere but due to some technical problem, we end up in Semenyih. Although not really an exciting place to go during CNY but it end up awesome. We had so much fun together and we went to Balakong Jusco where it is my 1st visit. We shop for gift for family visit and Cheng Han's Present. (Psst.. Dun think he will read this ) Then we spend lots of time utilising his uni's facilities. We had the great soccer and pool game where obviously I'm the winner of all time. Wakakakak...
